Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) has a full-time summer opportunity for an Order Coordinator in Lancaster, PA. The Order Coordinator will be responsible for the order inbox and for ensuring orders are routed to the appropriate team for processing.  The Order Coordinator will be the first point of contact with our customers so customer focus is critical.   This position functions in a fast paced, growing department.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Order Coordinator:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible of AS Order inbox and initial customer experiences
  • Evaluate and route daily AS orders to correct PC or CFC group to process
  • Set up new custom projects in Newforma project management software

 

Required Qualifications for the Order Coordinator:

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, complete multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project goals
  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to be flexible to adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in handling and processing confidential information
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and external customers
  • Willingness to embrace change and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes, functions and actions to maximize efficiency and customer value
