Armstrong Industries mondiales, inc. recherche un coordonnateur de la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour son établissement de Montréal. Le coordonnateur de la chaîne d’approvisionnement sera responsable de la gestion des fournisseurs, de la coordination de la planification des matières premières et du soutien à la préparation des documents pour la planification de la fabrication.


Responsabilités principales du coordonnateur de la chaîne d’approvisionnement :

  • Gérer la planification des fournisseurs et les suivis : coordination des expéditions à destination et en provenance des peintres et création de bons de commandes, de notes d’expédition, de documents sur mesure et d’horaires
  • Surveiller et coordonner l’horaire de réception quotidien des matières premières
  • Vérifier les matériaux reçus dans les stocks et concilier les différences
  • Gérer les flux de stocks de matières premières
  • Gérer les commandes à notre entrepôt de distribution à l’aide de documents d’expédition, de livraison et de transport
  • Collaborer avec le planificateur et l’équipe de production afin de veiller à un flux et à une quantité de matériaux adéquats au cours des étapes de production


Compétences requises pour le coordonnateur de la chaîne d’approvisionnement :

  • Diplôme universitaire ou certification dans un domaine connexe
  • Au moins trois ans d’expérience dans un poste de planification
  • Aptitudes marquées pour l’accomplissement de plusieurs tâches simultanées
  • Connaissance des systèmes : SAP, Accpac, Microsoft Office
  • Capacité à lire et à comprendre des plans de fabrication
  • Bonne compréhension du produit et des matériaux
  • Précis, organisé, solidaire, esprit d’équipe
  • Bonnes capacités de communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais
  • Capacité à travailler avec peu de supervision  Aptitude à gérer des tâches multiples
  • Expérience d’utilisation de logiciels et des applications de Microsoft Office (Word et Excel)





Armstrong World Industries, Inc. has a job opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to be located in Montreal. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing vendors, coordinating raw material scheduling and also assisting in preparing documentation in supporting planning needs for manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Managing vendors planning and follow-ups such as coordinating shipments to/from the painters with purchase order creation, shipping memo’s, custom paperwork, scheduling
  • Monitoring and coordinating daily receiving schedule on raw materials
  • Checking incoming materials into inventory and reconcile differences
  • Managing the flow of inventory raw material
  • Managing orders to our distribution warehouse such as transport documentation, delivery and shipments
  • Working with the planner and production team to ensure proper flow and quantity of material and wip during the operations steps;


Required Qualifications for the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • College degree or certification in related field
  • 3+ years of experience in planning and scheduling functions
  • Strong multi-tasking aptitudes
  • System knowledge: SAP, Accpac, Microsoft Office
  • Capable of reading and understanding fabrication drawings
  • Good product/material understanding
  • Precise, organized, supportive, team player
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, English and French
  • Ability to work in a low supervision environment.  Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Prior experience using computerized related software and Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)

Our Montreal Plant, one of six Armstrong ceiling plants, employs 36 people designing, developing and manufacturing specialty metal ceiling and wall systems for a wide range of market segments and applications.
